The Duchess

Feature film chaptering of the life of 18th century aristocrat Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, who was reviled for her extravagant political and personal life. Filmed on location at Bristol Old Vic Theatre.

Coast

Mark Horton uncovers an almost forgotten piece of maritime history that is still saving lives today. Bristol born Samuel Plimsoll MP, became a national hero in the 1800s when he campaigned against the corruption of ship-owners to make sailors safer by outlawing the over-loading of ships.
